Buying from The Living Seed Company

The Living Seed Company is an easy recommendation for home gardeners and seed savers who want open-pollinated, non-GMO varieties at $3.50 to $4.75 a packet, including rare tomatoes and peppers you won't find on a hardware-store rack. Skip it if you're outside the US, since it no longer ships internationally. Returns aren't accepted, but the store says it will send a replacement if you're unhappy, so contact them rather than writing off a bad packet.

Shipping: Orders usually ship within 1 to 3 business days via USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail. The company no longer ships internationally, and customers pay to reship packages returned for a wrong address.
Returns: Returns aren't accepted, but if you're unhappy with your seeds for any reason the company will send a replacement. Liability for a lost harvest is limited to the price of the seeds.
