About car accessories & lighting brands
Car accessories live or die on fitment. A light bar needs the right mounting brackets and wiring for your vehicle, and a Tesla organizer designed for a 2023 Model 3 may not fit a Highland refresh. Lighting adds a second check: auxiliary lights that are fine off-road can be illegal to run on public roads.
The two brands we cover take different routes. Nilight sells budget LED light bars, rocker switch panels, relays, wiring harnesses and OE-style headlight and taillight assemblies, shipping free from a Pennsylvania warehouse to the continental US. Its policy pages disagree on warranty length (1 year versus 2 years), so confirm before buying. BASENOR makes model-specific Tesla organizers, glass-roof sunshades, no-drill mud flaps, spoilers and interior protection, with clear fitment labels and a 30-day any-reason money-back guarantee, shipping in the US only.
Match your exact model and year in the product title before checking out at either store.
How to shop for car accessories and lighting online
LED light bars: beam pattern and output. Spot beams throw light far down the trail; flood beams light a wide area close to the vehicle; combo bars mix both. Compare effective lumens or measured output where listed, rather than wattage. Check the IP rating (IP67 or IP68 for off-road), housing material and lens type. Amber or selective yellow lights cut through dust, fog and snow better than white.
Wiring done right. Use a harness with a relay and fuse sized for the load, and a switch rated for the circuit. Switch panels make adding several accessories cleaner. Route wires away from heat and moving parts, use grommets through the firewall, and connect to a switched circuit or add a battery isolator to avoid drained batteries. If you are not comfortable with 12V wiring, a professional install is inexpensive insurance.
Road legality. In most US states, auxiliary off-road lights must be off and often covered on public roads, and colors like red and blue are restricted. Replacement headlights should be DOT or SAE compliant; LED bulbs in housings designed for halogen can scatter glare. Check your state's rules before mounting.
Headlight and taillight assemblies. Match year, trim and headlight type (halogen versus factory LED or HID), and confirm whether the assembly is plug-and-play or needs an adapter. Aim new headlights after install.
Tesla accessories: model and year matter. Tesla interiors changed with the Model 3 Highland (2024 onward) and the Model Y Juniper refresh, so center console organizers, mats and screen protectors are often specific to one version. Glass-roof sunshades should list the exact model. No-drill mud flaps and spoilers attach with existing fasteners or adhesive tape; check that installation will not affect warranty or paint.
Interior protection. Seat-back kick mats and pet seat covers should fit around seat airbag areas without blocking them. Look for washable materials.
Return and warranty traps. Nilight offers free returns or exchanges only for defective, damaged, incorrect or missing items within 30 days; otherwise you pay return shipping, and returns need prior approval. Avoid its Last Piece Sale items if warranty matters. BASENOR refunds for any reason within 30 days, but for non-quality returns you pay return shipping and receive the product cost. Do not install parts until you confirm fit, since installed items are rarely returnable.
Shipping. Nilight ships free to the continental US in 2 to 7 working days, with extra charges to Alaska, Hawaii and abroad. BASENOR ships US-only in 3 to 5 business days through Amazon's logistics network.
Budget tiers. Switches, relays and wiring kits cost $10 to $40. LED light bars run $30 to $200. Tesla organizers and sunshades cost $20 to $80; spoilers and full mat sets more.
