About ZezeLife

ZezeLife is a cat-only supply store with a strong design angle. Its site describes the range as colorful cat products that satisfy feline fantasies, and the catalog backs that up: cat trees shaped like flower gardens, elephants, hot air balloons, and cactus pots, beds shaped like clouds, whales, and convertibles, and bowls and mats with retro or floral patterns. The about page says the brand was started by a group of pet lovers who found most cat supplies generic, and that it works with designers and veterinarians. The site draws an estimated 110,000 monthly visits.

What the catalog looks like

The store lists about 371 products. Cat furniture and scratchers are the biggest group (about 60), followed by cat beds (43), general supplies, apparel and cones, and bowls and feeders. Notable pieces include the Fantasy Farm Cat Tree, built for multi-cat homes with mushroom and flower details, the Spring Fantasy Elephant Cat Tree, and the Garden Cat Climbing Frame. On the smaller side, there are summer cooling mats in rush grass and ice-silk fabric, the Whale Cooling Cat Bed (30 inches long, rated for cats up to 17 lbs), an Acorn Catnip Cat Toy with silvervine, and a Foldable 3-Color Cat Stroller with wheels.

One caution: the prices in the catalog data we collected did not come through in a usable form, so we are not quoting them here. Check current prices on the product page. About 114 of the 371 products were marked as on sale at the time we checked.

What makes it different

Most cat-tree brands compete on height and sturdiness. ZezeLife competes on looks. If your cat tree sits in the living room, the themed designs may matter more to you than a few extra inches of height. The trade-off is that themed shapes can have smaller platforms than plain towers, so read the dimensions and weight limits on each listing, especially for large cats.

Shipping and support

Shipping is free on US orders over $59. In-stock items ship from a Los Angeles warehouse with 3 to 5 business day delivery; under $59, that costs $8. Items not stocked in LA ship from overseas, taking 1 to 3 weeks by air for small packages or 4 to 6 weeks by economy for large items. EU and UK orders get free shipping over $199, with a Germany warehouse for in-stock items. The FAQ says orders can be canceled for a full refund before they ship and that processing takes 1 to 2 business days.

We did not find a returns or warranty policy in the pages we reviewed. The contact page lists 24/7 online chat, an email form, a phone number with a China country code, and company addresses in Hong Kong, London, and Shenzhen.
