Buying from AKUANA Gear

AKUANA is a solid pick for certified recreational and technical divers who want a backplate-and-wing BCD, sidemount harness or regulator set for less than many big-name dive brands. Skip it if you want to try gear in a local shop first, since it sells mostly online. Before buying a regulator, confirm where it will be serviced; AKUANA lists after-sales points in Florida, Belgium and the Philippines.

Shipping
Free shipping on orders over $100. Standard worldwide post takes 7 to 15 business days; DHL or UPS express takes 5 to 7 business days and is free on orders over $200.
Returns
90 days from shipment to return or exchange unused items for a full refund, minus any free-shipping savings. Custom-made items, like name-embroidered BCDs, can't be returned unless damaged, defective or wrong.
Warranty
No general warranty policy is published, but the regulator package listing mentions a 5-year warranty with after-sales service in Florida, Belgium and the Philippines.
