Timber Dumbbells are a pair of plate-loaded dumbbell handles with natural wooden grips and threaded wooden sleeves, plus four low-profile screw-on collars. The idea borrows the warm feel of gymnastics rings and bars. At $49 they suit garage or outdoor gyms where cold steel is uncomfortable, as long as you lift with control.
