About this product
From Outdoor Element's product listing:
Handy maintenance kit for your Firebiner or Fire Escape, in a convenient resealable pouch. Updated Jan 2025. Kit contains: 5 Ferro Rods 1 Precision Screwdriver 3 Set Screws 2 Springs 1 Rubber Ferro Rod Holder that holds 2 ferro rods We include a few set screws and a couple of springs just in case you accidentally lose some when trying to replace the ferro rods. Friendly tips: only remove the set screw in a controlled environment remember there is a spring inside which may cause the set screw to shoot out when you unscrew it use your thumb and forefinger to pinch the set screw and hold it in place as you re-seat it and screw it in don't tighten the set screw too much when first installing, check the spark and tighten as needed as the ferro rod gets used up the ferro rod holder can be easily attached to a split ring on your keys or pack, holds 2 rods WEIGHT 0.55 oz DIMENSION

Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days and usually ship by USPS from Colorado, arriving in 1 to 5 days; standard shipping is free above a threshold shown at checkout. Orders ship FOB Origin, so transit loss or damage is the buyer's responsibility unless you add their shipment protection.

Is Outdoor Element a legit store?
Outdoor Element is a strong pick for hikers, campers and EDC fans who want compact multitools built around fire starting, at prices well below most premium knife brands. Skip it if you need a wide range of camping gear, since the catalog is small and focused. Before ordering, consider adding their shipment protection, because the shipping policy puts transit loss and damage on the buyer. Our full Outdoor Element review covers shipping, returns and what to check before ordering.
Is the EverSpark Maintenance Kit expensive?
At $4.50 it is on the affordable end of Outdoor Element's range ($0.01 to $225.60 across 94 products).
