Buying from Outdoor Element

Outdoor Element is a strong pick for hikers, campers and EDC fans who want compact multitools built around fire starting, at prices well below most premium knife brands. Skip it if you need a wide range of camping gear, since the catalog is small and focused. Before ordering, consider adding their shipment protection, because the shipping policy puts transit loss and damage on the buyer.

Shipping
Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days and usually ship by USPS from Colorado, arriving in 1 to 5 days; standard shipping is free above a threshold shown at checkout. Orders ship FOB Origin, so transit loss or damage is the buyer's responsibility unless you add their shipment protection.
Returns
Returns are accepted within 30 days for unused items in original packaging with proof of purchase, and you must get authorization first. Sale items cannot be refunded, and exchanges are for defective or damaged items only.
International
Ships worldwide through a parcel broker, usually via national postal services, and tracking may stop at the destination country. Buyers pay all duties, tariffs and import fees.
