About this product
From The Feed's product listing:
B12 and folate are two of the most critical B vitamins for endurance athletes — and two of the most commonly under-supplemented, particularly for plant-forward eaters or those with genetic variants that impair how their bodies process standard synthetic vitamins. B12 supports red blood cell formation, neurological function, and DNA synthesis. Folate is the co-factor that keeps methylation — the cellular repair and energy process running throughout every tissue in your body — functioning properly. The form these vitamins come in matters. Many supplements use cyanocobalamin (B12) and folic acid (folate), both synthetic forms your body must convert before it can use them. For those with the MTHFR gene variant — which impairs that conversion in a significant portion of the population — standard forms mean much of what you're supplementing never gets properly absorbed.
