About DFACKTO

DFACKTO stands for Dining Facility Knife & Tool Outfitters. The about page says the founders couldn't find culinary tools rugged enough for cooking over fire at camp, so they combined kitchen-knife balance with materials meant for wet, cold, and rough conditions. The returns address is in Marietta, Georgia, and the store lists a phone number and support email.

The Interceptor Series

The flagship line is the Interceptor Series. According to the brand, these knives use high-carbon stainless steel full-tang blades and G-10 fiber-resin handles with finger grooves, a scalloped bolster for grip, and a lanyard hole at the heel. Most single knives are $45: the 8" Chef's Knife, 6.5" Santoku, 5.5" Tanto, 6" Hybrid Boning and Fillet Knife, 7.5" Fillet Knife, and 10" Butcher Knife. The 12" Brisket Slicing Knife is $50, the 6" Serrated Utility Knife and 7" Carving Fork are $35, and several come in an orange-handle version for visibility outdoors.

Sets are where the camp angle shows. The 3 Piece Essential Chef Knife Set is $75, the Nomad Set in a green bag is $134.95, the Interceptor Mobility Set is $164.95, and the Basecamp Set is about $235. A 4.5" Steak Knife Set of four with a case is $65, and Build Your Own Custom Kit lets you pick your knives. At the top, the Forager Knives Field Kit costs $1,100; its listing says it's made in the USA by service-disabled veterans.

Everyday kitchen sets and extras

How it compares

At $45 per knife, the Interceptor line costs less than many premium outdoor or chef knife brands while offering a G-10 handle you'd usually see on tactical knives. The everyday sets are budget-priced and aimed at basic home use rather than the camp crowd.

Shipping and returns

Orders ship only to US and APO/FPO addresses. Standard shipping is $5 in the continental US, and the policy lists free shipping at both $35 and $45 in different sections, so expect free shipping by $45 at the latest. Alaska and Hawaii cost $18.99 (free over $100 to $150, depending on the section). Free-shipping orders take 5 to 11 business days. Returns are described as unconditional: return or exchange anything within 30 days of receipt, in original packaging with the invoice. You pay to ship it back, and original shipping is only refunded if DFACKTO made an error. Refunds take 10 to 14 business days after receipt. No separate warranty terms are published.
