Our research

TeraGanix review 2026

TeraGanix is a good fit for homesteaders, backyard chicken keepers, and gardeners who want bokashi composting supplies or microbial soil products, and its 30-day full refund with free US return shipping is better than most farm-supply stores. Skip it if you need things fast, since standard shipping takes about 7 to 10 business days, or if you're outside the continental US. Read product pages carefully, because some listings (like bulk molasses totes) are priced per gallon.

About TeraGanix

TeraGanix describes itself as a regenerative agriculture company focused on microbial products for soil, livestock, and organic waste. Its About page says it has been helping farmers for over 20 years and names Chad Krause as CEO. The online store serves a broader crowd than big farms, though: home gardeners, composters, and backyard chicken keepers make up much of the catalog.

The catalog

The store lists 60 products, priced from $5.99 to $2,337.50, with a median of $34.99. At the time of our research, 16 items were on sale. The range falls into a few groups:

  • Bokashi composting. The Essential Bokashi Compost Bin Starter Kit (4.4 gallons) is $45 against a $99 compare-at price, and Premium Bokashi Bran compost starter starts at $17.70, with a 22 lb bucket at $90.70.
  • Soil amendments. Urban Worm Company castings ($25), coco coir ($14), biochar ($17), and an endomycorrhizal inoculant ($18), plus pH test strips around $9 to $12.
  • Chicken supplies. The My Pet Chicken Hen Pen Pop-Up Brooder is $79.99 (compare at $99.99), the Farmight Automatic Chicken Coop Door is $79.99, a chick brooder heater plate starts at $42.99, and auto-filling water cups start at $6.99.
  • Egg cartons. Henlay cartons for chicken, duck, and quail eggs, from $22.99, including printed "Laid Local" designs and blank stamping cartons for farm-stand sellers.
  • Microbial liquids. Septic and waste treatment concentrates, plus livestock probiotics like Ps300 for poultry and Ca300 for cattle, generally $37 a gallon.

There are also bulk blackstrap molasses totes for farms. Watch the pricing on those: some tote listings show a per-gallon price ($9.75 to $10.50) while others show the full tote price ($1,650 or $2,337.50).

How it compares

The store's mix is unusual. Most chicken-supply shops don't sell bokashi bran or microbial soil inoculants, and most composting shops don't sell egg cartons. If you run a small homestead, that combination can save you an order or two. Some livestock product descriptions make health claims; treat those as marketing and talk to your veterinarian before changing what you feed or give your animals.

Shipping and returns

According to the shipping policy, TeraGanix ships within the continental US and sends limited items to Canada. Common carrier shipping (FedEx, UPS, or USPS) typically takes 7 to 10 business days, not counting processing, and faster 3-day, 2-day, and next-day options are available. In winter, packages require a signature to prevent freeze damage. Items may ship from different locations.

The return policy is the standout. You can return items within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, and return shipping from anywhere in the US is free. Report damaged products within 48 hours of delivery, and refuse any package that arrives leaking. Support is available by chat, email (info@teraganix.com), and phone, with a mailing address in Rusk, Texas.

What stands out

  • Free US return shipping with a full refund within 30 days.
  • Bokashi specialists. Starter bins and bran from $17.70, with a starter kit at $45 against $99.
  • Homestead mix. Chicken brooders, coop doors, egg cartons, and soil amendments in one store.
  • Real contact options. Chat, email, phone, and a Texas mailing address.
