About Peekaboo Pattern Shop

Peek-a-Boo Pattern Shop sells PDF sewing patterns: clothing for babies, kids, women, and men, plus accessories and home items. According to its About page, designer Amy Hindman started the shop in 2010 at her kitchen table in Eastern Oregon, originally designing simple kids' clothes for her own family. The shop now says it offers more than 400 PDF patterns and claims over 300,000 customers and a Facebook group of 108,000+ members (these are the shop's own figures).

What you get

Every product is a digital download. The FAQ says each pattern includes a materials list with recommended fabrics, a yardage chart, a size chart, and a full-color photo tutorial with step-by-step instructions. Pattern pieces are computer generated and color coded, and you can print them in black and white. Large rectangular pieces like skirts and sashes are given as measurements in a cutting chart instead of printed pieces, which saves paper and ink. Seam allowances are already included.

Patterns print on US Letter or A4 paper at 100% scale, and each includes a test square so you can confirm your printer settings before printing the whole file. The shop also says every pattern is tested by real sewists before release.
