Frequently asked questions
Are jump rings the same as split rings?
No. Jump rings are single loops that you open and close, and split rings are double coils.
Will iron rust?
It can, especially with moisture. Plating helps, but check the photos.
Do I need pliers?
Yes, two pairs are best for opening and closing, because a rough twist weakens the ring.
Is it worth buying?
At about a penny each, yes for craft projects, though iron rings can rust if they get wet.
Is the Open Iron Jump Rings on sale?
Yes. AliExpress lists it at $1.80, down from $3.61 (50% off). Sale prices change, so confirm the live price on aliexpress.com.
Is there a discount on the Open Iron Jump Rings?
AliExpress publishes these ways to save: Coins in the app. AliExpress sets the terms, which can change; our AliExpress coupons page has the details.
What is AliExpress's return policy?
Eligible items can be returned within 90 days of payment, with the first return on each order free, according to AliExpress's 2024 US announcement. Return terms vary by seller and item, so check the product page. Custom, perishable and hygiene items are generally excluded.
How long does AliExpress take to ship?
AliExpress's 2024 US guarantee listed Choice orders at 5 to 12 days and standard orders at 8 to 14 days, but real-world standard shipping from China often runs longer. Items marked Ship from United States come from local stock. Free shipping on Choice orders depends on a minimum order shown at checkout.
Does the Open Iron Jump Rings come with a warranty?
AliExpress's published warranty terms: AliExpress does not publish a marketplace-wide product warranty. Coverage depends on the individual seller, and Buyer Protection covers non-delivery, damage and not-as-described claims instead.
Where can I buy the Open Iron Jump Rings?
The Open Iron Jump Rings is sold directly by AliExpress on aliexpress.com. The Shop now button on this page goes straight to the product there.
Is the Open Iron Jump Rings in stock?

Is AliExpress a legit store?
AliExpress is a legitimate marketplace that is worth using for cheap, low-risk things like cables, tools, cleaning supplies and small home items, as long as you can wait and you buy from well-rated sellers. Skip it for anything safety-critical, brand-name or urgent. Check the seller's feedback score, the delivery estimate and the import-charge line at checkout before you pay.
