- Crystal globe design
- Eight lighting modes
- IP65 rating, per the title
Best for
People decorating a patio, garden or fence with low-effort lighting.
Things to consider
- Solar fairy lights need direct sunlight for the panel, so place the panel where it gets several hours of sun; a shaded fence will give dim, short runs.
- String length and battery capacity are not stated, so check the options for the length that suits your space.
- Delivery takes roughly one to three weeks, and outdoor lights that arrive dead or wrong can be handled through Buyer Protection.

Frequently asked questions
Do solar fairy lights work in winter?
They run for fewer hours in low sun and cloud. Expect dimmer light in winter.
What does IP65 mean?
It means the light is dust-tight and protected from water jets, so rain is fine, but it is not for submerging.
Do the lights charge on cloudy days?
Slowly. The panel still gathers some power from daylight, but runtime on the next night will be shorter than after a sunny day.
Is it worth buying?
At about $4 for a string, yes for casual decor. Choose a brand with a warranty if you want long life.
Is the Solar Crystal Globe Fairy Lights on sale?
Yes. AliExpress lists it at $4.15, down from $9.57 (57% off). Sale prices change, so confirm the live price on aliexpress.com.
Is there a discount on the Solar Crystal Globe Fairy Lights?
AliExpress publishes these ways to save: Coins in the app. AliExpress sets the terms, which can change; our AliExpress coupons page has the details.
What is AliExpress's return policy?
Eligible items can be returned within 90 days of payment, with the first return on each order free, according to AliExpress's 2024 US announcement. Return terms vary by seller and item, so check the product page. Custom, perishable and hygiene items are generally excluded.
How long does AliExpress take to ship?
AliExpress's 2024 US guarantee listed Choice orders at 5 to 12 days and standard orders at 8 to 14 days, but real-world standard shipping from China often runs longer. Items marked Ship from United States come from local stock. Free shipping on Choice orders depends on a minimum order shown at checkout.
Does the Solar Crystal Globe Fairy Lights come with a warranty?
AliExpress's published warranty terms: AliExpress does not publish a marketplace-wide product warranty. Coverage depends on the individual seller, and Buyer Protection covers non-delivery, damage and not-as-described claims instead.
