Evolution S14CPS-Li: Cordless 14 in. Metal Cutting Chop Saw with 40V Brushless Motor & EVOMAX Blade

$650–$1,200

In stock at store.evolutionpowertools.com

The Evolution S14CPS-Li is a cordless 14 inch metal-cutting chop saw that runs a 40V brushless motor from two 20V EXT batteries. It uses a TCT cold-cut blade rather than an abrasive wheel, so cuts come out cool, square and nearly spark-free. Evolution rates it at up to 400 cuts per charge on 8Ah packs, aimed at fabricators and installers who cut steel away from mains power.

Buying from Evolution Power Tools

Evolution is a strong choice if you cut steel, concrete or mixed materials and want a dedicated saw with a 3-year guarantee and parts you can actually buy later. It's less compelling if you're already committed to a big cordless battery platform, since Evolution's cordless tools run on their own system. Check whether a cordless listing includes a battery and charger before you order.
