YOELEO is a China-based maker of carbon bicycle wheels, frames and complete bikes that sells direct to riders worldwide. Its site describes itself as a manufacturer and global supplier, and one frameset listing mentions a headquarters in Sichuan. The store lists about 124 products: 27 wheel listings, 13 frames, 7 complete bikes, a few handlebars and a long list of spare parts. The median item is $299 and the most expensive complete bike is $6,150.

What the catalog looks like

Wheels are the core. The SAT C45 DB Pro NxT Gravel wheelset is $999 with a listed weight of 1,380 g, and the NxT SL2 road line covers rim depths from 35 mm to 88 mm at about $999 to $1,099. The premium QianKun CS50 and CS60 wheelsets are $1,650, and mountain bikers get 29-inch GEN 30, GEN 50 and GEN 60 wheelsets at $1,099. Framesets include the Altera G21 gravel frame at $1,420 in several colors, and complete bikes start at $3,800 for the R11 and R12 DB STD road builds and the G21 DB STD gravel bike, rising to $6,150 for Di2 versions.

How it compares

The appeal is price. Carbon wheels and framesets from big Western bike brands often cost far more than YOELEO's $999 wheelsets and $1,420 frames. Listings are spec-heavy, giving carbon grade (Toray T700, T800, T1000), rim inner and outer widths, weights, frame sizes and bearing part numbers, which is what an experienced buyer needs. Their FAQ says all road and gravel framesets and wheelsets are UCI approved, and a BeYourself program offers custom paint with 25 to 45 days of lead time for wheels and 45 to 60 days for frames. The store also sells replacement bearings, freehubs, forks, derailleur hangers and end caps, which matters for long-term ownership of a direct-to-consumer product.

Shipping, taxes and returns

According to their FAQ, shipping is free on orders over $60 or €60. From the China warehouse, frames and wheels ship by EMS in about 5 to 20 days or by DHL in 3 to 12 days for an extra fee, and the FAQ lists 7 to 14 days to the US. The shipping policy says customers in the US, Canada, Japan, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand do not pay import taxes, while European buyers should order from the separate European site to ship from a German warehouse with no import taxes. Spare parts are the exception: their listings say taxes are not included.

The refund policy is very short at 3 days from receipt to request a return, for unused items in original packaging with proof of purchase. Sale items, custom orders and labor and shipping fees are not refundable. YOELEO has a warranty application and a Crash Replacement Program, but the warranty page text did not load when we checked, so ask for terms in writing.
