Highlights
- Rosin-core wire, so flux is built into the solder
- Two wire diameters listed: 0.8mm and 1.0mm
- Three spool weights: 20g, 50g and 100g
- 2.0% flux content, described as no-clean
Best for
Hobbyists and phone or small-electronics repairers who need cheap solder and do not want to buy a big spool.
Things to consider
- The title does not say whether the alloy is leaded or lead-free, so check the variant description and wash your hands after handling if it is leaded.
- Pick the thinner 0.8mm for small joints and the 1.0mm for general wiring; one diameter will not suit every job.
- Most US orders arrive in about 7 to 21 days, faster when the listing is marked Choice. The listed price may not be the final cost, because import charges can apply to US orders, and on a low price they can be a noticeable share of the total.

Frequently asked questions
Which thickness should I buy for circuit boards?
For small SMD and fine through-hole work the 0.8mm option is easier to control; 1.0mm is fine for larger joints and wiring.
Is this solder lead-free?
The title does not say. Check the alloy shown for your chosen variant before ordering, especially if you need lead-free for RoHS-style work.
Is it worth buying cheap solder from AliExpress?
For hobby repairs a small spool at this price is reasonable. For precision or production work, solder with a stated alloy from a known supplier is the safer choice.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
Customs charges can show up as their own line at checkout. Nothing on the listing promises a specific amount. If something is wrong, you request a refund through AliExpress Buyer Protection, so keep photos of any damage.

How long does AliExpress take to ship?
AliExpress's 2024 US guarantee listed Choice orders at 5 to 12 days and standard orders at 8 to 14 days, but real-world standard shipping from China often runs longer. Items marked Ship from United States come from local stock. Free shipping on Choice orders depends on a minimum order shown at checkout.
