Highlights
- Rosin-core solder wire for hand soldering
- 0.8 mm and 1.0 mm diameters
- 20 g, 50 g and 100 g spool sizes
- Title cites 2.0% flux content and no-clean flux
Best for
Hobbyists doing basic electronics soldering who want a cheap spool.
Things to consider
- The title does not say whether the alloy is leaded or lead-free; if that matters for your project or your health, check the options before buying.
- Pick 0.8 mm for tight circuit boards and 1.0 mm for wiring and larger pads; a too-thick wire makes neat joints harder.
- Delivery from overseas typically takes one to three weeks, and a wrong spool size or a spool that never arrives is a Buyer Protection claim on AliExpress.

Frequently asked questions
Is no-clean flux really no-clean?
No-clean flux leaves a residue that is usually harmless, but it can look sticky. If the board is for sale or a tight fit, wipe it with isopropyl alcohol.
Is this lead-free solder?
The title does not say. Check the alloy listed in the options, and wash your hands after handling leaded solder.
Which diameter should I buy?
For SMD and fine-pitch work, 0.5 to 0.8 mm is easier. For through-hole parts and wire, 0.8 to 1.0 mm is fine.
Why is the positive feedback lower here?
The listing shows 91.3%, below the 98% seen on many items. That can reflect shipping or seller issues, so check recent buyer photos.
Is the Rosin-Core Solder Wire Roll on sale?
Yes. AliExpress lists it at $1.66, down from $4.62 (64% off). Sale prices change, so confirm the live price on aliexpress.com.
Is there a discount on the Rosin-Core Solder Wire Roll?
AliExpress publishes these ways to save: Coins in the app. AliExpress sets the terms, which can change; our AliExpress coupons page has the details.
What is AliExpress's return policy?
Eligible items can be returned within 90 days of payment, with the first return on each order free, according to AliExpress's 2024 US announcement. Return terms vary by seller and item, so check the product page. Custom, perishable and hygiene items are generally excluded.
How long does AliExpress take to ship?
AliExpress's 2024 US guarantee listed Choice orders at 5 to 12 days and standard orders at 8 to 14 days, but real-world standard shipping from China often runs longer. Items marked Ship from United States come from local stock. Free shipping on Choice orders depends on a minimum order shown at checkout.
Does the Rosin-Core Solder Wire Roll come with a warranty?
AliExpress's published warranty terms: AliExpress does not publish a marketplace-wide product warranty. Coverage depends on the individual seller, and Buyer Protection covers non-delivery, damage and not-as-described claims instead.
