About Onikuma Gaming

Onikuma is a gaming accessories brand best known for colorful, low-priced gaming headsets. Its site describes the company as focused on headset research and development, and the contact page lists a registered company in London (Kense Company Limited), while noting that address isn't for returns.

What's in the catalog

The store has about 103 products, and headsets make up the bulk at 69 listings. Prices run from $15.99 to $129.99, with a median of $49.99, and about 59 products were on sale when we checked.

The entry-level wired RGB headsets are the brand's core. The X88 with 50mm drivers and a 360-degree rotatable mic is $39.99, and the X92 with 3D surround sound is $34.99. A step up are multi-mode wireless headsets that switch between 2.4GHz USB, 2.4GHz USB-C, Bluetooth and wired: the GT888 and GT883 are $79.99, and the GT889 with a quoted 60-hour battery is $69.99. Outside headsets, there are gaming mice like the DM07 with a PAW3311 sensor and magnetic charging base ($49.99), mechanical keyboards such as the hot-swappable MT707 ($109.99) and a Hall effect rapid-trigger G67 ($99.99), plus desktop speakers, USB microphones and gaming earbuds.

How it compares

Onikuma competes on price and looks rather than audio pedigree. A multi-mode wireless headset with a USB-C dongle at around $70 to $80 costs far less than the wireless models from the big gaming audio brands, and the wired RGB models are priced like starter gear. Listings give useful specs (driver size, battery capacity, connection modes, DPI and polling rate), but they don't include measured audio performance or detailed platform-by-platform compatibility, so you'll need to read closely.

Shipping and returns

According to their shipping policy, Onikuma offers free shipping worldwide. Orders placed on weekdays ship within 2 working days, and international delivery normally takes 7 to 20 working days. They don't ship to PO boxes or military addresses, and international buyers pay any import duties. Orders can't be canceled or changed once placed.

The refund policy allows returns for a full refund within 30 days of receiving your item, as long as it's in original condition and undamaged packaging. You email service@Onikumagaming.com with your order number, and they send a return address after approval. Onikuma pays return shipping for defective items or its own errors; otherwise you pay, and original shipping fees aren't refunded. We didn't find a published warranty, and the store lists more than one support email domain, so keep all order emails.
